Overview

UX-Master is the perfect solution for streamlining the user research process, from pre-interview preparation to preparing post-interview analysis.

It is an intuitive tool that lets you quickly put together complete session guides. UX-Master is perfect for qualitative and quantitative interviews, observations and questionnaires. It eliminates the need to worry about formatting, allowing you to focus on the content. Once the sessions are done, UX-Master will transform your interview data into a well-structured spreadsheet, supporting you in analyzing your interviews and making data management a breeze.

UX-Master is a versatile app that works seamlessly with Windows, macOS, iPadOS, iOS, and Android, making it the perfect choice for any workflow.

Add & Edit Project

There are many ways to add a project! You can do it from the Creator menu or from the Project Overview. Just click the + icon or even use the right-click context menu on desktop devices.

We've made it easy for you to see which fields are mandatory by marking them with a red asterisk.

You can even add new customers and agency profiles directly within the project form via the + icons.

And the best part is, you can edit project data any time!

UX-Master: Session Guide Structure

Session Guide Structure

UX-Master lets you create perfectly structured session guides! They are laid out in a clear way, with sections, items, and options.

At the item level, you have the opportunity to choose from a variety of item types, with the most frequently used question type conveniently pre-selected by default.

For options, you'll find open and closed answers, which are further divided, e.g., multiple and single choice for closed answers.

Projects can be further structured into versions, e.g. for the revision process or for different user groups.

Automatic Formatting

UX-Master handles the formatting for all output formats, so you can just focus on the content.

Each item type and inline text type has its own formatting, like yellow highlighting for instructions, i.e. to-dos for the moderators.

Sections and the item types Question and Task are automatically numbered across all platforms.

Furthermore, you can add open and closed answers as options, which are connected to specific formatting as well, like radio buttons for Single Choice and Scales.

UX-Master: Easy Handling

Easy Handling

The UX-Master interface is intuitive and easy to use: You can add, delete, copy, and paste with just one click via the button bars on each level.

The copy and paste feature works across versions and projects, so you can reuse parts from previous projects with ease.

And if you accidentally do something wrong, the undo and redo buttons are there to help you!

Context Menus

Right-clicking your mouse is your ticket to a world of useful context menus.

The context menu you see will depend on where you are clicking with your mouse, so you’re always close to what you need.

The "Extra" menu has some great additional features in store: You can add, copy, and paste sections, items, or options up to five times each. It’s as simple as that.

Right-click shortcut menus are a desktop-only feature.

UX-Master: Search

Search Function

This amazing superpower is here to help you find the information you need in your session guide!

All you have to do is open the Search and start entering whatever you are looking for. A simple click on a result in the list will take you straight to the information you need.

And guess what? It is a fuzzy search! This cool feature lets you find whatever you're looking for, even if there are typos either in the term to be found or in the search term!

Live Previews

The live preview for the UX-Interview app, DOCX and XLSX helps you to get a firm grasp on your content.

See your created and changed content in real-time.

Click and scroll through the previews to control the flow.

Additionally, the ToC (Table of Contents) provides an overview of your session guide.

UX-Master: Export & Import

Export & Import

The session guides are available in a variety of output formats, offering you maximum flexibility. And the exporting is easy! You can save the files to your favorite location such as local folders, clouds, or external devices.

You are working with a team on a session guide? With UX-Master you can import session guides from your colleagues to keep the project moving forward—either as new version of a project that already exists on your computer or if you haven't set up the project yet, UX-Master will create it for you when you import the session guide.

Importing Interview Data

It is time to prepare your interview data for analysis! The Importer is ready to transform your data from UX-Interview into a handy XLXS file.

UX-Master offers you a preview of your spreadsheet where you can select tabs and scroll through sheets. This will give you a chance to explore your data and check that everything is correct. The spreadsheet includes formulas for the most common descriptive statistics. These formulas depend on the closed answers you've used.

Now, export the XLSX file to your favorite location to proceed with the analysis of your data.
